Why are more and more pharmacists unhappy with their current practice? Why do pharmacists come out of university full of excitement, ready to engage patients and put all of their knowledge to work, and, in a few short years, become disheartened with their day-to-day grind and even contemplate leaving their chosen profession? What is going wrong?

In this session we will explore a different way of practicing community pharmacy. This approach utilizes skills and tools like proactive engagements with patients, care planning, and changes to workflow and responsibilities to meaningfully impact the lives of our patients in a lasting way while also creating increased professional satisfaction.
